The Byrne's vs. The Fly

The other day I was over at Bryan's parents house and with the warm weather we've been having, a few fly's found their way into the house...annoying!

Bryan's dad was not going to let the fly just buzz around annoying everyone so he went on a fly hunt.  Bryan and Mr. B took action when the fly settled into one spot...of course the fly hungout in the most inconvenient place, the skylight above the stairs!

The two contemplated how to get the lil bugger and Bryan decided it was time to bust out the mini nerf football and basketball!  So they started throwing the nerfs up into the skylight trying to hit the fly to its death.  It was probably the most entertaining thing I've seen in a long time!  The fly dodged their throws for about 15-20 minutes, taking a few blows but no direct hits.  Then finally *boom* Mr. B had a DIRECT HIT and the fly fell straight down to the floor....GOT 'EM!

Here's a video clip for a quick visual.  I wanted to video the entire shananigans but I as you can see, the nerfs would deflect off the skylight and shoot back to me and I had to keep throwing them back up to them so I couldn't film more than 2 seconds.

The fly hunt was a success....victory for team Byrne!

 Always keep a mini nerf handy...you never know when you're going to have to kill a fly with one!
