Baseball is Back!

10 months ago, baseball shut its door on us and B was left not knowing what he was going to do with his life {and I was left not knowing what to blog about anymore!}.  We knew God had a plan and what a great plan He came up with!

After months of toying with the idea that he'd leave baseball behind and get into the business world, he realized that suits and a desk job were not for him.  Towards the end of the summer, he decided he would go to Grad School at our alma mater and soon after he applied, a volunteer coaching job at SMC opened up. 

I couldn't believe it!  We went from spending 6 months out of the year together and the other 6 doing the long-distance thing for the last 6 years...and now we were going to be working at the same place!  He stops by my office daily to say hi and now that baseball season is underway, I can just walk down from my office to support the Gaels! 

Who knows if coaching is going to be where he stays, but he was blessed with this great opportunity and he is already doing amazing things!  I believe that Baseball is destined to be a part of our lives forever and I can't wait to see what happens next!
